Ben King Photography |
Born in Vancouver, Canada, and migrating to Queensland as a teenager, Ben King went on to make a successful career in Australia as a motion picture camera assistant. Ben has 12 feature film credits including 'Charlotte’s Web', 'House of Wax', 'Ghost Ship', and 'Ned Kelly'. Most recently Ben was the only full time unit photographer on Spike Jonze's latest feature 'Where the Wild Things Are'. Ben applies a cinema verite aesthetic to all of his stills projects, preferring to manufacture or compliment a realistic light source to create a distinctive visual language. Ben’s talent was discovered when he won the grand prize for the STA travel ‘Snap up the World’ Competition in 2004 for his shot of a young geisha in Kyoto and continues to develop a visceral style working out of his home town of Melbourne, Australia. |

Mum to Mum |
Both Mel Farrell and Emma Grimwade, the creators of “Mum to Mum”, understand only too well how hard it is being a new parent. Emma has four gorgeous children & Mel has one, with another on the way! Understanding how hard it is to read a mountain of baby books whilst sleep deprived, the girls decided a visual guide in the form of a DVD would build confidence and empower both mums and dads in an entertaining and informative manner. |

Hi Brigitte,
Saw your story in the Sunday Herald Sun. Congrats…. It looks fantastic – what a great achievement. I have moved to the country, but will be sure to get a copy when I am next in town.
